Four arrested in connection to March 29th shooting

FROM A PRESS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE CRISP COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE: On May 8, 2020, Anthony Dawson, a 23-year-old male resident of Albany, Ga., was arrested for outstanding Crisp County Sheriff’s Office warrants for Aggravated Assault (3 counts) and Criminal Street Gang Activity. On May 8, 2020, Quintavis Green, a 26-year-old male resident of Albany, was arrested for outstanding Crisp County Sheriff’s Office warrants for Aggravated Assault (2 counts) and Criminal Street Gang Activity. On May 7, 2020, Brenton Hailstock, a 22-year-old male, was arrested in Arizona for outstanding Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Warrants for Aggravated Assault (2 Counts), Criminal Street Gang Activity, Discharge of Firearms on Property of Another, Possession of a Firearm During a Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by First Offender. Hailstock is awaiting extradition back to Georgia. On April 20, 2020, Reggie Clark, a 24-year-old male resident of Albany, was arrested for outstanding Crisp County Sheriff’s Office warrants for Aggravated Assault (3 counts) and Criminal Street Gang Activity.

These four were arrested in connection to the shooting at 113 Judy Avenue, Cordele, Ga. that occurred on March 29, 2020, where two males suffered gunshot wounds. Those injured were: Demarco Jackson 23-year-old male, from Hahira, Ga. formerly from Cordele, Ga. Alverriss Smith 31-year-old male from Cordele, Ga. The investigation in this case is ongoing.
