Cristi Campbell

Cristi Campbell, age 37, gained her Heavenly reward Tuesday morning.
Cristi was born in Macon and was a 1998 graduate of Southeast High School.  She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Lizella.  She loved bowling and participated in the Special Olympics and the Macon-Bibb Rampers Bowling League.  Cristi had an infectious smile and a sweet spirit.  She had a loving heart for animals and was always on a mission to find forever homes for those that did not have a family.  Cristi loved to spend time with her canine companion, Hannah; and her feline companion, Angel.  She also loved to collect baby dolls, especially Cabbage Patch Kids.
Cristi is preceded in death by her father, Sgt Major John W. “Billy” Campbell (Ret.); Nanny and Papa, M.L. and Grace Campbell; aunt, Judy Skinner; and uncle, Reggie Poss.
She is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Doretha Avery Campbell of Macon; brothers, Lee Campbell (Alicia) of Kathleen and Chad Campbell of Byron; grandparents, George and Frances “Ish” Avery of Cordele; nieces and nephew, Kelsey Campbell, Witt Campbell, Candler Campbell, and Mimi Jewell Campbell; aunts, Lynn Avery of Albany and Peggy Poss of Gray; uncle, Bill Skinner of Macon; loving caregiver, Edricka Jones; many cousins and many close friends.
Funeral services were 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home.  Reverend Jeff Powell officiated.  Interment followed in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
