ALBANY — Annelle W. “Nell” Tarrer, age 88, of Albany and formerly of Lilly, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Wynfield Park Health and Rehab in Albany.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Otis W. Wilkes and Nannie Mae Wilson Wilkes. She was a homemaker and a member of Lilly Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School.
She is survived by her sons, John L. Tarrer (Lee) of Monticello and Donald Tarrer (Sandra) of Dawson; 6 grandchilren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie L. Tarrer, Sr.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Saturday, January 30 in Lilly Baptist Church with interment in Lilly City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
