On a rather cold night with temperatures dipping into the 30’s the lady Cougars Soccer team came away with a 2-1 win over Albany High and the boys got a 1-0 shutout.
In the first game the girls got goals from Abbi Thorne and Hunter Meadows.
In boys action the guys pitched a 1-0 shutout on a goal by Tyler Richmond. On defense the back line of Brock Thomson, Grant Payne, Autumn Hurt and Hal Tyson put up a fence and didn’t allow Albany any goals. “The girls didn’t play to their full potential but overall we had decent team performance,” said Head Coach Michael McGinnis.
