CORDELE — Jasper Duane Camp, 81, died at his residence Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Lilly City Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Black officiated the service. Jeff Presley sang “I Can’t Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand” and “Amazing Grace”. The American Flag was folded and presented to his wife, Patricia Camp.
Mr. Camp was born in Ava, Missouri to the late Forrest Camp and the late Florence Privett Camp. He was retired civilian manager for Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. Mr. Camp served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia, MO.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Camp of Cordele, Ga.; two daughters: Joyce Jackson and her husband Allen of Pitts, Ga. and Carla Singley and her husband Vernon of Lilly, Ga.; four grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
The family will be meeting at the home of Joyce Jackson, 688 Pleasant View Rd. Pitts, Ga. 31072
