CORDELE – Memorial services for Ernest Jeffrey Forrest, 64, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service.

Jeff died Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Jeff was born in Vienna, Ga. and raised in Cordele, Ga. He was predeceased by his son Adam Forrest.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn Forrest of Shalimar, Fla.; his mother Bernice Forrest of Cordele, Ga. and his father Wyatt Forrest of Cordele, Ga.; his sons: Matt Forrest of Rolla, Mo., Steven Forrest of Amarillo, Tex., Jeffrey Forrest of Round Rock, Tex., Brook Forrest of Clermont, Fla. and Chris Forrest of St. Augustine, Fla.; his daughters: Rebecca Vestre of San Luis Obispo, Calf. and Ashley Chacon of St. Cloud, Fla.; his brother: Terry Forrest of Cordele, Ga.; his sisters: Melinda Roebuck of Bethlehem, Ga. and Becky Forehand of Cordele, Ga.; several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
