CORDELE – Memorial services for Frances Cranford Harper Sheffield, 78, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Northern Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
Frances was born in Pineview, Ga. to the late Henry Cranford and the late Ola Smith Cranford. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sheffield, and her daughter, Rebecca Jane Poole. She was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church and a retired licensed practical nurse from Crisp Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her sons: Mark (Suk) Harper and Russel Harper all of Cordele; her step-son: Kenny (Harriet) Sheffield of Cordele; her step-daughters: Kay (Chuck) Gordon of Vienna and Carla (James) Parker of Warner Robins, Ga.; her brother: Amos Cranford of Rochelle; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
