DULUTH — Funeral services for Jonathan “Jon” Wade Mountjoy will be held at 2 p.m.,Monday, June 27, 2016, in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the funeral home.

Jon died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga. He was born in Boyten Beach, Fla. He was a salesman for Mountjoy Medical and attended Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his wife and three children. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Lafayette “Bubba” and Hazel McKinney.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Mountjoy of Dacula, Ga.; his children; Emma Kate Mountjoy, John David Mountjoy and Sara Beth Mountjoy all of Dacula; his parents: Sandy and Billy Hobbs of Cordele; his siblings: Tina Hobbs (Hollis) Hood of Albany and Tony (Kim) Hobbs of Atlanta; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Sherri and Dan Routzahn of Stockbridge. Ga.
