Jewell Carolyn Killian

PITTS — Jewell Carolyn Killian age 66 a resident of Pitts GA., passed away Wednesday June 29, 2016 in a Chattanooga health care facility.  She was the daughter of the late Arnold and Hazel Parker Dailey and was preceded in death by her husband Bentley Robert Killian her sister Mary Jeanette Burris and her daughter Dannette Rene Underwood.

She loved collecting and selling antiques.  She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting for her family and friends.  She enjoyed her second family T.O.P.S and was honored as their Georgia State Queen in 2015.  But the greatest love and joy of her life was her children and grandbabies.

Survivors include her daughters Melissa Hale (Paul) of Vienna GA., DeAnna Engram (Bill) of East Ridge and Donna Sue Aspinuall (Scott) of Pitts GA., her son Floyd Christopher Underwood of Pitts GA, 8 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren, her sisters Ella Faye Watkins of Hickory KY., Margaret Ann Hudgins of Cleveland, Helen Lucille Doffee of Cleveland, her brothers Sam Dailey (Jackie) of Cleveland, John Dailey (Wilma) of Charleston Tn., and Millard Ervin Dailey of Fairview ILL., with several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service was held at 1 o’clock Saturday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel. Rev. Daryl Lewis officiated. The interment followed in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Adam Curtis Ball, Dereck Matthew Teasley, Cody Daniel Gillis, Zachery William Engram, Alex Shelby Frye and Franklin Battle serving as casket bearers.  The family received friends Friday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.  We encourage you to share your memories and or condolences with the family by going to www.jimrushfuneralhomes.com.
