CORDELE – Graveside funeral services for Dena Helms, 46, will be held at 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Rev. Phil Streetman will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Dena was born in Cordele, Ga. and was a retail store clerk. She also attended cosmetology school and loved her family and cats. She was the granddaughter of the late Russell and Odelle Helms and the late Joe and Verlin Dorminey.

She is survived by her mother: Linda Dorminey Moody of Cordele; her father: Eddie Helms of Cordele; her aunts and uncles: Franklin and Janie Dorminey of Cordele, Tommy Helms, of Cordele, Peggy Cranford of Pineview, Diane and Al Radford of Vienna, Jo Ann Dorminey of Warner Robins; her boyfriend: Mike Pollock; and a very close friend: Allen Rutherford.
