Lady Patriots continue winning ways

On Thursday the Wilcox County Lady Patriots Varsity jumped out to an early lead on Turner County and captured a 12-1 victory on Thursday.
With six runs in the first three innings, the Lady Patriots left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
Haley Howell racked up two RBIs on three hits for Wilcox County Lady Patriots Varsity and Megan Fuller,Michelle Fuller and Autumn Tripp all collected two safeties each.
Chastity Stephens put together a nice outing. Stephens gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out eight during her five innings of work.
On Saturday the Wilcox County Lady Patriots Varsity continued to show their fire power against Atkinson County and captured a 10-3 victory on Saturday.
Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Wilcox County Lady Patriots to put the game away early.
Oakleigh Reeves racked up three RBIs on two hits for Wilcox County Lady Patriots.
Laura Lee Keene shut down Atkinson County while she was on the rubber. Keene held Atkinson County hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five.
Autumn Tripp got it done in the circle on the way to a win. She allowed three runs over 4 2/3 innings. She struck out three, walked four and surrendered one hit.
