On September 30^th, 2016 history was made at Cougar Den. Brandon Thompson became the first player in Crisp County history to kick three field goals in one game including the game winner. As a result of his performance Thompson was awarded the “Georgia High School Football Daily” Special Team Player of the Week Award. Thompson appears above with his Coach Shelton Felton. Thompson is a Senior and  the son of John and Rhonda Thompson of Cordele.
