On Friday night the Trojans of Fullington handed Life Christian Academy a 34- 12 thumping in a key region contest up in Pinehurst.

In a contest that really wasn’t indicative of the score Fullington had to grind out their win against a very physical team. Led on offense by Will Mashburn at quarterback who went 5 for 9 for 114 yards and Lane Mitcham who rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns. “ It was a game in which we had to get after it, I real good win for us,” said Jason Hurst. On defense Houston Hawkes with 12 tackles and two for a loss led the Trojans. Mitcham came up with big pick six in the third quarter to help the Trojan cause out. Fullington travels to Elmore, Alabama to take on Edgewood on Friday night.
