Wildcats continue the Chase

The Crisp Academy Wildcats traveled down to Hinesville where they took on the Monsignor Donovan Rams of Athens and handed them a 73-58 defeat to advance to the next round of state. The Wildcats were led on offense by Bobby Ray Mitchell with 36 points, followed by Ravi Patel who added 21and Nathan Willis put in 8 points for the Cats. “It was a good win by over a respectable team,” said Head Coach George Kennedy.
In girls action on Tuesday night the Lady cats showed the form that has brought them numerous state and region titles in recent years. “Holding them to 3 points in the first half was huge for us and also we only had 5 turnovers made for a good night,” said Head Coach Gina Mitchell. The lady cats played awesome defense all night and got 18 points from Claire McGarr who owns the middle and 15 points from Sydney Wells. The girls play Friday at 8:30pm and the boys on Saturday at 7pm
