Snyder Strong Bembry

Snyder Strong Bembry, age 40, of 2059 Highway 230 Unadilla, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at his residence.

He was born in Perry on March 8,1976 and was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church.

Strong loved watching wrestling and attending concerts and rodeos.  He was also a fan of the television show, Knight Rider.  Another of his favorite hobbies was clipping coupons.

He is survived by his parents,  Jackie and Jan Bembry of Unadilla; his sisters, Staci Wheeler (Danny) of Perry and Janice Lea Bembry of Perry; his brothers, Baskin Bembry (Dana) of Perry and Paul J. Bembry, III of Bella Vista, AR; his nieces and nephews, Candace Passmore, Jonathon Lee Passmore, Preston Wheeler (Yesenia), Hannah Bembry, Gabriel Bembry, Tristan Wheeler, Dalton Caulder, Davean Caulder, Darrian Bembry, Shawn Bembry and Donavon Bembry; several great nephews.

He is also survived by his beloved dog, Shoot ’em.

Funeral services were held at 11 am Tuesday, March 7 in Unadilla United Methodist Church.  Rev. Lowery Brantley officiated and interment was in Walnut Cemetery.

Elain Langford provided music for the service and sang, “Amazing Grace.”  A recording of “The Old Rugged Cross” was also played.

Tristan Wheeler, Baskin Bembry, Gabriel Bembry, Shawn Bembry, Dalton Caulder and Brandon Fritts served as pallbearers.
