As the Crisp Academy Wildcats prepare to travel up to Monticello this week and take on three time defending AA State Champions Piedmont Academy folks around here should be reminded of one thing. We play pretty good baseball around these parts most of the time, year in and year out. It has been along time since the Wildcats have not been in the post season in baseball. I personally can’t remember when that was. Yes we have some injuries and nagging ailments but we also have good senior leadership and more left handed pitchers than any team I have ever heard of in high school. The Wildcats will be looking for some traveling support and the way I see it them Cougars at Piedmont will stumble. The Wildcats win two out of three and shock them baseball gurus. First game Friday at 2:00pm.
