Funeral services for Juanita Waters of Arabi will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Arabi Baptist Church with burial following in Arabi Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Juanita passed away Thursday at Crisp Regional Hospital. She was born in Turner County and was the daughter of John Nipper Waters and Edna Mae Bailey Waters. A faithful member of Arabi Baptist Church, Juanita had worked for many years at Community National Bank in Ashburn. She is survived by her mother, Edna Mae Waters of Arabi; five siblings and their spouses, Cheris Gardner and Marcus and Loida Waters, all of Cordele, Lucille and Jim Sewell of Hazlehurst, Kathryn and Tracy Walls of Arabi and Bradley Waters of Boulder, CO; and her fiance, Randy Davis of Sycamore. She was loved and will be missed by many special nieces and nephews. Juanita was preceded in death by her father, John Nipper Waters, a sister, Gwen Evans and a brother, James Cooper Waters.
