Henry Carlton “Bud” Bass of Albany passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Pruitt Health in Macon. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 10:45. Bud, 64, was born in Turner County and the son of the late James William and Lillian Beasley Bass. He was an expediter for the Albany Marine Corp Supply Center and a member of Haw Pond Baptist Church. He loved horses and enjoyed riding. He also enjoyed playing guitar and country music. He is survived by his wife, Debra Espe Bass of Albany; four children, Lashanna Bass of California, Susan Landeros and Melissa Bloodsworth, both of Ashburn and Alexa Bass of Tifton; two brothers, John Bass of Ashburn and Tom Bass of Worth County; and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Bass of Ashburn.
