Funeral services for Marvin Lewis of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Zion Hope Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the Lewis residence at 919 GA Hwy 33, Cordele, GA 31015. Marvin, 85, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. He was born in Crisp County and was the son of the late Calvin and Kate Hauesler Lewis. He was a farmer and a member of Wenona Methodist Church. Marvin was a lifetime member of Cordelia Lodge #296 F&AM. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katrina Hutto Lewis of Cordele; a son and his wife, Darryl and Sheree Lewis of Cordele; two grandchildren, Caelan Darryl Lewis and his friend, Bailey Manning, and Anthony Ray Brown, Jr. and his fiancée, Maggie Hart.
