On December 7 at approximately 12:25 a.m. officers were dispatched to Suwanee Apartments located at 101 S. 7^th St. in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival they discovered two individuals had been shot. All indication is that the incident was an attempted robbery.

Gunshots were exchanged between the victim and the suspect. The victim has been identified as Kentrial Antonio Killens, age 29. The suspect is Ahmad Ali Rahman, age 33. The Crisp County Coroner pronounced the suspect, Rahman dead at the scene. The victim was also injured during the exchange of gunshots but his injury was non-life threatening.

The victim, Killens was transported to the hospital by ambulance and released the following day. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) in conjunction with the Cordele Police Department is currently investigating and the investigation is ongoing.
