Pineview, GA- Alice Gail (Rogers) Coleman, 66, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at her home with her beloved husband and children by her side. The visitation with family and friends will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. Funeral services celebrating her life will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with entombment immediately following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jim Perdue and Mr. Lamar Coleman will be officiating.
Gail was born on March 1, 1952 in Jacksonville, FL to the late William Curtis and Rose Mary Elaine (Skierski) Rogers. She was Co-Owner of Cordele Glass Company until retiring early this year. Gail was an active member at Second Baptist Church and served in their life group. Gail loved her Lord and was a shining example of His love and grace. Her heart was to love others and serve God. Through the years Gail’s service to Jesus included teaching children classes at church, serving in the nursing home to elderly friends, counseling and ministering to other women and representing Jesus to everyone she met. Gail’s love and faithfulness will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Lamar Coleman of Pineview, GA; daughter: Trisha Coleman of Alexandria, VA; son: Ryan Coleman and his wife Stephanie of Knoxville, TN; sisters: Penny Rose and Brenda Yard; brothers: Hal, Danny and Neal Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews.
