GAIL ANNE QUINN ELLIS

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Cordele First United Methodist Church for Gail Anne Quinn Ellis. The committal service will be private. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Gail died Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Cordele. She was born in Florence, AL and lived in Greenville, KY, Chattanooga and Gallatin, TN before coming to Cordele, She graduated from Berry College and received her Masters in Home Economics Education from the University of Georgia. Gail taught 28 years in the Crisp County School System. She was a member of the Patsy Stewart Sunday School Class, the Christian Women’s Fellowship, the After-School Tutoring program and the Choir and Orchestra of Cordele First United Methodist Church. She was an Alpha Delta Kappa Sister.

Gail was predeceased by her mother, Nina Claire Veal Quinn of Gallatin, TN.

Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Frank Jeffrey Ellis; two children and their spouses, Carson and Jonathan Oliver of Hahira and Drew and Holly Ellis of Sylvester; two grandchildren, Asher Oliver and Nina Kate Oliver; father, William T. Quinn of Gallatin, TN; brothers and their wives, James and Kelly Quinn of Conway, AK, Tom and Melanie Quinn of Lebanon, TN, Joseph Quinn of Mount Juliet, TN, John and Rhonda Quinn of Canton and Tim and Alyce Quinn of Wirtz, VA; several nieces and nephews; and a host of loving and supporting family and friends.
