Jimmy Sapp, age 78 of Pitts, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 18th at 4:00 PM in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home with Military Honors. Reverend Joey Boney will officiate.
Mr. Sapp was born on January 24, 1940 in Waycross, Ga. He was son of the late Oral Loyd Sapp and Margaret Strickland Sapp. He was owner/operator of D. R. Pallets in Pitts and was of the Baptist Faith. He served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include: Wife-Patricia Sapp of Pitts, sons-George Alan Sapp of Warwick, Dillon Chance Sapp of Pitts and William Matthew Sapp of Pitts, daughter-Ashlee Lynn Sapp of Pitts, 3-grandchildren and 3-great-grandchildren.
The family request that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St., Suite 500, Chicago, Illinois 60611.
Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
