CORDELE — Graveside funeral services for James Wesley Willard, 63, were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Rev. J. T. Smith officatied the service. “Beulah Land” was played during the service. Pallbearers were: T. J. Willard, Scott Williams, Sam Willard, Jack Willard, Lee Wiley, Adam Priest and Logan Taylor.

Wesley died Tuesday night, May 29, 2018 at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Ga. Wesley is preceded in death by his father, Jackie Lee Willard, and his brother, Dennis Willard. He was born in Cordele, Ga. He was a mobile mechanic for Norbord. He was of the Baptist faith and an avid hunter that also enjoyed fishing. He was a fan of Dale Earnhardt and a diehard fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Go Dawgs!

He is survived by his mother: Ethel Willard of Cordele; his son: Thomas Jared “T.J.” Willard of Cordele; and his daughters: Elizabeth Claire Willard and Natalee Ann Willard both of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
