ANN NESBITT MILLER

Ann Nesbitt Miller, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA and most recently residing at the Hermitage in Richmond, VA, died September 24, 2018.  Born August 17, 1924 in Cordele, GA, she was the daughter of Thomas and Claire Fletcher Nesbitt. Ann graduated from Cordele High School and Wesleyan College in Macon, GA. She is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, CDR James Miller.  Ann was a long time member of Francis Asbury Methodist Church in Virginia Beach and very active with the Retired Officers Wives Society in that region. She is survived by her son James N Miller and daughter-in-law June M Miller; daughter Kathryn A Ritchie (Edward W Morrow); grandchildren James T Miller; Jeffrey A Miller (Danielle); Jacob P Ritchie; Jessica R Sutton (Jeremy); and five great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is also predeceased by a sister, Ruth N Proctor, and brothers Thomas Nesbitt, Fletcher Nesbitt, Jack Nesbitt, and Duncan Nesbitt.  A service and interment will be held at a later date at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
