Funeral services for Viola Royal of Arabi will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with burial following in Arabi Cemetery. The family will receive friends the same day as the service beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Born Viola Mae Parr, she was the daughter of the late L.J. Parr and Leila Johns Parr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nixon Monroe Royal, Jr., a grandchild, Trey Royal and siblings, James Parr, A.M. Helms and Lora Thompson. Viola passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker and a seamstress, retired from Cordele Uniform. She taught Sunday School and was a life-long member of Arabi United Methodist Church.
Viola is survived by her children, Sandra Smith, Rickey Royal and his wife, Karen, Vickie Royal and Jenny Webb and her husband, Dennis, all of Arabi; grandchildren, Tina Worley and her husband, Koby of Cordele, Dana Smith of Fort Valley, Amanda Webb of Arabi, Lee “TC” Holloway of Cordele, Victoria Webb and her husband, Lamar of Arabi and Clay Royal of Valdosta; great-grandchildren, Chase Worley and his wife, Rachel of Burleson, TX, Ryan Worley of Columbus, Blake Worley of Cordele, Drayton Taunton of Vienna, Dixie Webb of Arabi, Nixon Holloway and Emelyn Holloway, both of Cordele and Cody Pettis of Arabi; and one great-great-grandson, Oliver Worley; three sisters-in-law, Inez Helms of Cordele, Carolyn Parr Burghoff and her husband Ray of Arcadia and Willene Royal of Arabi.
