A memorial service for Donald William “Chubby” Reeves of Cordele will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the residence of his daughter, Tonya and Ryan Bruce at 1173 Hatley Road, Cordele, GA 31015. Chubby, 47, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 at his residence. Born in Conyers, he was the son of the late William Eustus and Polly Sue Wood Reeves. He was employed with Synergy Solutions as a fork lift driver. He enjoyed fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Chubby is survived by his children, Mark Reeves, and  Tonya Bruce and her husband, Ryan, all of Cordele, and Jack Reeves of Oxford; brothers, Buddy Reeves and his wife, Frances of Macon, Lamar Holmes of Ringold, Nathan Mulkey of Cordele and Jerry Reeves of Conyers; sisters, Judy Dial and her husband, Kenny of Covington, Nancy Cruse and her husband, Gary of Tennessee and Pamela Sorrows of Cordele; six grandchildren, Brayden Bruce, Hayden Bruce, Jayden Bruce, Nattalie Bruce, Charly Reeves and Mark Roberts; and the mother of his children, Sebrinna Baker of Cordele. He was preceded in death by siblings, Eugene Mulkey, Ronald Reeves and Debbie Mulkey. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services. An online guest register is available at www.raineyfuneral.com
