CPD to staff front desk 24/7 beginning April 29

- An undisclosed amount of money was taken during an armed robbery at Pizza Hut, 1508 East 16th Avenue in Cordele shortly after 10:00 pm Thursday. A lone male subject brandished a firearm and demanded money from the business.

Effective April 29, 2019 the front desk at the Cordele Police Department will be staffed on a 24-hour basis. This includes weekends and holidays. The front desk can be accessed via walk-in or by dialing (229)273-3102 and following the prompts or directly at (229) 276-2921.
