CORDELE — Funeral services for Sherry Lynn Fraser Barker will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019. Sherry passed away at Crisp Regional Hospital on Thursday afternoon, May 2, 2019.

Sherry is the daughter of the late Joe V. Fraser and the late Meda Lou Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her husband, Scott Ross Barker. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed going to the beach. Her family was the pride and joy of her life.

She is survived by her daughters: Erica Odom and Amanda Odom both of Cordele; her brothers: Mike (Renee) Fraser, Dennis Fraser and Ricky Fraser all of Cordele; her grandchildren: Heidi Coffee, Zayden Williams and Nathen Lawrence; her faithful cousin: Gail Overman; and her faithful friends: Nathalee Wade, Jackie Hayslip and Debbie Edalgo.
