Photos and top finishers from Saturday’s Georgia Vets Triathlon

- Cougar Clifford, a para-triathlete from the Atlanta area who has participated multiple times in the Georgia Vets Triathlon, makes the transition from the 400-meter swim section of the race to the 13.6 mile cycling section with the help of Bridget Hathcock, who owns and operates the Southwest Georgia FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center in Cordele along with her husband Stacy.
Just over 100 local residents volunteered at the 19th Annual Georgia Vets Triathlon, and more than twice that competed in the swim-bike-run event at Georgia Veterans State Park this past Saturday. Here is a look at the results along with photos from the competition.
