January 17, 2020

  • At approximately 10:14 a.m., deputies responded to 139 Rock Road in reference to a theft.
  • A reported was made of a stolen tag at 128 Freeman Road.
  • Deputies responded to 608 E. 20th Avenue in reference to a theft of an auto at 2204 Truman Street.
  • Deputies stopped a 2016 Nissan Maxima for speeding. As a result of the stop the driver, Marvens Simeon of Miami, Florida, was arrested on speeding, window tint violation, driving while license suspended and fraud charges.
  • At approximately 8:14 pm, Deputies were dispatched to 852 District Line Road, in reference to harassing communications.

January 18, 2020

  • At approximately 5:10 pm, deputies responded to 2213 Arabi Warwick Road in reference to a fraud, which occurred at 2109 E. 16th Avenue.

January 19, 2020

  • At approximately 7:05 pm, deputies responded to U.S. Highway 41 North, Room #16 in reference to terroristic threats.

January 20, 2020

  • At 8:43 a.m., deputies responded to Turton Mini Storage, located at 1216 East 13th Avenue, Unit 835 in reference to a possible burglary.
  • At 5:50 p.m., deputies responded to 3314 Pateville Road in reference to a criminal trespass.

January 21, 2020

  • At 6:41 p.m., deputies responded to 100 Denmar Road, Lot 11 for a fraud.

January 23, 2020

  • At 11:39 am, Deputies made contact with the complainant in reference to harassing communications.
  • Deputies responded to 2691 Hwy 90 South in reference to a theft.
  • Deputies responded to Hobbs Grocery at 2452 Hwy 280 West in reference to a theft that occurred on January 19, 2020.

January 24, 2020

  • Deputies responded to 192 Mud Road in reference to criminal trespass.
  • Complainant at 627 Cork Ferry Road reported to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office fraudulent activity.
  • Deputies were dispatched to 3746 Hwy. 280 East in reference to a vehicle striking a fixed object. Arrested was Fidel Olmedo of Cordele, charged with Fail to report striking a fixed object, driving without a valid drivers license, and D.U.I alcohol.
  • Deputies responded to 2452 Hwy 280 West in reference to a security inspection.

January 26, 2020

  • Deputies responded to 184 Williford Crossing Road, South in reference to a theft.
  • Deputies responded to 2524 Hwy 280 West in reference to a theft.

January 27, 2020

  • Deputies responded to 418 North Penia Road in reference to a burglary.
  • Deputies responded to 2206 Truman Street in reference to a theft.

January 28, 2020

  • Deputies responded to 422 North Penia Road in reference to a burglary.
  • Deputies responded to 907 East 17th Avenue in reference to an entering auto that occurred at 1204 7th Street South between January 16th and January 24th.

January 31, 2020

  • Deputies responded to 1714 S. 10th Street in reference to a criminal trespass complaint.
  • Deputies stopped a black Nissan Maxima for having the wrong tag displayed on the vehicle. Upon further investigation, the two occupants of the vehicle were arrested on fraud charges in reference to bank cards and checks in their possession that did not belong to them. The vehicle was also impounded for further investigation. Arrested was Rantarvious Johns of 812 West 24th Avenue, Cordele, charged with falsification if VIN or registration plate and buy, sell, etc., motor vehicle, or part which serial, and no insurance, also arrested was A’Darrion Da’shad Alexander of 408 West 13th Avenue, Cordele and charged with financial transaction card theft.
  • Deputies responded to 1010 Schley Avenue in reference to an entering auto.
