Roadways washed out across area

- Washout conditions as seen here on Gilbert Road in Dooly County exist in multiple locations throughout the Dispatch coverage area. Unsafe driving conditions abound – stay off roads unless absolutely necessary, say public safety officials
Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock reports that just over five and a half inches of rain have fallen in the last 24 hours and roadways throughout the county are washed out in several areas. His office recently issued this update on road closures:
-Exit 104 of I-75 closed northbound off ramp
-Lakeshore Drive (below church)
-Arabi-Warwick just east of Raines Station
-Cannon Road and Cannon Branch Road (wash out)
-Hawpond Road and Hawpond Connector (water over roadway)
-600 block of Raines Station Road
-400 block of Lakeshore Way
-Hwy. 257 closed north of Farmers Market Road
-Cannon Road near Valhalla
-Drayton Road and 15th St.
-Drayton Road and Drayton Lane
-200 block of Midway Road
