At least 14 residents of a long-term nursing care facility in Wilcox County have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s South Central Health District.

In total, the South Central Health District has confirmed that 24 Wilcox County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 through Sunday, April 12.

Two of the COVID-19-positive nursing care facility residents in Wilcox County are hospitalized, according to a press release issued by the agency. The others have been isolated.
