Annie Derington age 23 of Oglethorpe formally of Cordele passed away on November 4, 2022. She was born in Americus, Georgia. Annie was the daughter of Wesley Scott and Melissa Derington. She was a member of the Vienna Church of God. Annie was a loving mother. She loved sunflowers and cleaning. Annie was looking forward to being a nurse. She was involved in an automobile accident that took her life and the life of her unborn son Maverick Logue. Annie is survived by her Mother, Melissa Derington of Cordele, GA; Father, Wesley Scott Derington of Butler, GA; Step-Mother, Tabatha Driggers of Butler, GA; Fiance, David Ward Logue of Oglethorpe, GA; Son, Mason Lee Logue of Oglethorpe, GA; Three Brothers, Avery Olds of Cordele, GA, Wesley Derington, Jr. of Butler, GA, Luke Derington of Butler, GA; Sister-In-Law, Hayley Wainwright of Butler, GA; Two Sisters, Courtney Derington of Oglethorpe, GA, Kelsey Driggers of Butler, GA; Grandmother, Cindy Crosby of Vienna, GA; Three Grandfathers, James Crosby of Vienna, GA, Mark Olds of Cordele, GA, Marvin Derington of Mauk, GA; Father-in-law, Victor Lee Logue of Rupert, GA; Mother-in-law, Carol Lynn Preskitt of Mauk, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday November 7, 2022 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2022. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
