The City of Cordele’s Water Department will be replacing a fire hydrant on 15th Avenue and 5th Street. The water will be turned off on Friday, March 8, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am. Water will remain off until work is complete. Water will be off at the following addresses:
- 204 East 15th Avenue
- 302 East 15th Avenue
- 106 East 16th Avenue
- 206 East 16th Avenue
- 301 East 16th Avenue
- 206 South 5th Street
Once service is restored, if you experience water discoloration, please allow water to run for 30 minutes. If discoloration persists, please contact the Water Treatment Plant at 229-273-2829.
