On Wednesday March 20, 2024 at approx. 12:00pm a single vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 41 around Rockhouse Road and 33 Connector.

A approximately 57 years old man was driving a Nissan Armada down Hwy 41 when he  went off the road into the shoulder and hit two culverts. The vehicle over turned an unknown number of times, and the man driving was ejected out of the car through the sunroof. It is known that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was potentially under the influence of drugs. The driver was pronounced dead on scene by Crisp County Coroner.
