Mr. William Cedrick Dalton “Seth” age 26, his fiancé Madison Cherie’ “Cricket” Adams age 25
and their baby girl Roselyn Alma Saige Dalton age 1, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at
their home along with their furever furbabies Ewak and Kenobi. Funeral services for this
precious family will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of
Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Chet Ragsdale and Rev. Teddy Hubbard will
officiate the service. Interment will follow in the DeSoto City Cemetery. The family will greet
friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday, April 10 th in the funeral home chapel and
other time at 265 SR 27 Americus.
William Cedrick Dalton was born June 3, 1997 in Americus. He was the son of the late William
Edgar Dalton “Bill” and Michell Ann Eagle Gillis. Seth graduated from Americus Sumter High
School. He was employed as a cook with the Waffle House Corporation. He loved his family and
was planning to marry the love of his life and mother of his precious daughter, Roselyn this year.
Seth is survived by his mother and step father, Michell Ann Eagle Gillis (Jacob) of Smithville
and sisters, Elizabeth Rose Miller, Makenzie Miller both of Pennsylvania, Ashley Langston of
Myrtle Beach, SC, Tesla Ann Gillis of Americus and brothers, Brian Langston of PA, Brent
Gillis of Smithville and Casey Gillis of Smithville. He also survived by his maternal
grandparents, Elizabeth Korycki (Victor) of New York and Edward Eagle (Marilyn) of Calera,
Al and a number of Aunts Uncles, cousins and family friend Harry Miller of Pa. In addition to
his father Seth was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joyce and Edgar Dalton.
Madison Cherie’ Adams “Cricket” was born April 20, 1998 in Americus. She was the daughter
of Christopher Wade Adams “Chris” and Twila Michelle McGlamory Sellers. Madison
graduated from Schley County High School. She was a care giver, loving mother and faithful
fiancé.
Survivors include her parents Christopher Wade Adams (Christy) of Weaver, AL and Twila
Michelle McGlamory Sellers (Shannon) of Jacksonville, Fl; three sisters, Cassie Austin (Erron)
of Ellaville. Tayla Taylor (Kayla) of Ellaville, Caelyn Landers of Weaver, AL; eight brothers,
Marshall Adams, Roland Sellers, Anthony Hooper,Lane Adams, Seth McClellan all of
Jacksonville, Ashton McClellan of Gainesville, Fl., Curtis Landersof Atlanta and Conner
Landers of Weaver, Al. Madison is also survived by her paternal grandfather, Harold Wayne
Adams of Americus, Maternal grandfather Robert Holman and a number of aunts, uncles and
cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Loretta Taylor and Johnny McGlamory
and paternal grandmother Alma Genelle Rigby.
Roselyn Alma Saige Dalton age 1, was born April 7, 2022 in Cordele. She was cherished and
loved by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
