Cordele Police Department

At approximately 1:15 AM 04/21/2024, officers with the Cordele Police Department responded to a shots fired call at the Party Shop, located in the 200 block of West 24th. Shortly after officers arrived, they were advised by citizens that the shooter(s) had fled the area. Officers located one vehicle that had been shot but no one was inside. Shortly later, 911 Dispatchers advised officers that a possible victim was at Crisp Regional Hospital reciveing treatment from a gunshot. There, they made contact with a thirty-year-old Cordele man who been shot in the foot while attempting to flee the area. The injuries were nonlife-threatening.
