Traffic Stop Leads to Three Drug Arrests

Crisp County Sheriff’s Office

On May 6, 2024, around 12:40 A.M., a Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputy
conducted a traffic stop on a silver Honda Accord on GA 401/I75 near exit 99 for failure to maintain lane. The Deputy observed the driver moving things around in the vehicle when he approached. The driver gave consent to search. A search of the car resulted in a bag of suspected methamphetamine, a bag of suspected cocaine, U.S.
currency in mixed denominations, a digital scale, and multiple clear empty plastic bags.

Brett Wilson, a 36-year-old male from West Minster, South Carolina, faces the following charges:

  • Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Methamphetamine

Marcus Whitner, a 38-year-old male from West Minster, South Carolina, faces the following charges:

  • Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Methamphetamine

Crystal Wilson, a 33-year-old female from West Minster, South Carolina, faces the following charges:

  • Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
