The 1.7 miles of Hwy 280 has officially been named the Tyee Browne Memorial. When driving down Hwy 280 west of Cordele take a look at the sign.  Sheriff Billy Hancock said, “Thank you Governor Brian Kemp, Representive Noel Williams, Senator Carden Summers and The Ga Department of Transportation for making the 1.7 miles a reality for Deputy Tyee Browne, Crisp #17.”
