CORDELE — Cheryl R. Walls, 46, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2018 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Ga. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Rev. Eric Eidenire and Rev. Bryan Bentley officiated. “Beulah Land” was also played during the service.

 Cheryl was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late John Everett Wolfenbarger and Sandra Faye Meredith Wolfenbarger, who survives her daughter. Cheryl was a Registered Nurse with Pruitt Hospice. She loved helping others which is evident in her 20-year nursing career of which 15 years was in hospice care. She loved to sing and listen to music. She served as a Youth Leader for over 20 years at various churches. She was a member of Thrive Baptist Church.

 She is survived by her husband: Doug Walls of Cordele; her daughters: Samantha R (Michael) Weaver of Cobb and Rebecca G. Walls of Cordele; her mother: Sandra M. Wolfenbarger of La Follette, Tenn.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Larry and Cindy Walls of Cobb, Ga.; her sisters: Lisa (Al) Driver of St. Mary’s, Ga. and Stacy (T.J.) Reynolds of McRae, Ga.; her brothers-in-law: Dave (Michelle) Walls of Cordele and Dusty (Natalie) Walls of Auburndale, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

 The family suggests that contributions be made in Cheryl’s memory to a hospice organization of your choice.
