The Crisp Academy Lady Wildcats did not disappoint  Friday Night. Playing at home against a very good Brentwood Academy team, the Cats pulled out a 44-38 win in the end. With the student body dressed in hoola hoops and a Hawaiian theme scene the gymnasium was at capacity and the noise level was very high.

From the opening tip off till the final horn this was a game wrought with excitement. In the early going the Ladies pulled out ahead by 10 points only to watch it slip away as halftime approached. Finally in the 4th period the girls got ahead and stayed there for the remainder even though the Lady Eagles stayed with in two points. As time dropped under the two minute mark Crisp Academy kept getting fouled and made enough of their free throws to stay a head  and win by 6 points. “They are a very good team and the girls played very hard and with a lot of heart,” said Gina Mitchell. “This was a big win for us”, said Mitchell.”On the night Senior Parker Krause took up some slack for a banged up Cats squad and pumped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Claire McGarr chipped in another 14 points and 7 rebounds. The Ladies travel to Macon to play at Mercer University this Friday in the Final Four against Flint River Academy.
