Trojans New “Grid Iron” Chief

The Fullington Trojans got themselves a new Head man on the grid iron. Fullington Headmaster Ken Shealey was proud to announce  the hiring of Lee Hamner to run football operations. Hamner comes to Pinehurst after a brief stay at Putnam County, where he finished his public school tenure. From 2008 to 2014 Hamner had been coaching at Jones County High. Originally from Roanoke, Ala. Hamner has a wife Beth have  two children. Their daughter Morgan is finishing college and their son Hampton is about to graduate high school and will be heading off to play some college football this fall. Hamner has coached most all sports during his 30 years in teaching including baseball, football, basketball and wrestling.. Coach Hamner said he is “excited about the challenge,” and wants the boys to,” seize the moment and win the moment.”
