AMERICUS – Roger D. Hainesworth, 63, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Cordele.
Mr. Hainesworth was born in Cordele to the late Henry Lee Hainesworth and the late Reba Jewel Broskey Hainesworth. He was an United States Air Force veteran and a carpenter.
Mr. Hainesworth is survived by his daughter: Evelyn Basile, Bridgton, Maine; his siblings: Ronnie (Shirley) Miley of Brewton, Ala., Jerrie (Jimmy) Watson of Vienna and Jane (Ken) Klusman of Kathleen, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
