Funeral services for Hazel Maxine Judge of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2018 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Zion Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hazel, 81, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Crisp Regional Hospital.  Born in Turner County, she was the daughter of the late Emory Edward  and Caline Perry Mathews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Murray Judge; a son, Marcus Judge; and several siblings. Hazel was a retired bank teller with First State Bank of Cordele and an active member of Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and never tired of riding and looking at the countryside. She also enjoyed gospel sings and cross-stitching but most of all she adored her time with her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Bragg of Vienna;  five grandchildren and their spouses, Todd Judge, Perry and Amanda Judge, Heather and Willie Musselwhite, Jacob and Heather Bragg and Amanda and Brent Phillips; eight great-grandchildren, Emma Brown, Keira Musselwhite, Blair Musselwhite, Zachary Musselwhite, Randi Phillips, Addaline Phillips, Talan Reid and Ryder Judge; and a sister and her husband, Flora and Joel Rooks of Sycamore.
