KIds enjoy Cookies with Santa at CCHS

Becky Crissman/Cordele Dispatch Members of the Crisp County High School FBLA Club helped children make reindeer antlers to wear while they enjoyed all the activities as they waited for their chance to have their picture made with Santa Claus during CCHS’ annual “Cookies with Santa” event. Numerous clubs from the school participated in the event providing a number of fun activities for patrons such as; Corn Hole, Letters to Santa, an obstacle course, coloring, puppet making, letters to Santa, cookie decorating, reindeer punch. According to those in charge of the event somewhere around 300 or more children attended the event held in the school cafetorium. Admission to the event was one unwrapped toy or $10. All toys and proceeds will be donated to the Gateway Center to help provide toys for children in the community at Christmas.
