CORDELE — Monica Simmons, President of the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce announced that tickets for the 68th Annual Dinner could be reserved by calling the chamber, 273-1668. The Annual Dinner will be held March 3, 2016, reception 6:00 p.m. dinner at 7:00 p.m. at The Resort at Lake Blackshear. Members of the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce can purchase tickets for $35 each if reserved by Feb. 24th (reserved table of 10 – $350).  After Feb. 24th the cost will be $40 (reserved table of 10 – 400).
Entertainment will be provided by the Georgia Southwestern State University Jazz  Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Mark Laughlin.  The Jazz Band provided entertainment for the 2004 annual dinner and were such a big hit that we have invited them back, stated Ron Cruz, chairman of the board.
As in the past, the chamber will recognize the accomplishments of the past year, the outgoing board members, Volunteer of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, the Exceedingly Excellent Teacher, and the incoming Board of Directors and Officers for 2016.
The chamber will once again recognize the small, medium and large business of the year. If you would like to nominate a business or teacher, please contact the chamber for the nomination forms.
