There was hardly a dry eye in the place as Pam Tebow shared her story at the Crisp Area Pregnancy Care Center’s First Annual Meeting Tuesday night at Cordele First United Methodist Church. Ms. Tebow shared her personal experience of facing a crisis pregnancy. Advised by her physician to abort her baby when diagnosed with a serious illness, she chose not to, and today there is hardly any one in our nation that has not heard of her son, professional football player Tim Tebow, who continues to do mission work globally and proclaim the love of Christ.
Upon crisis pregnancy, many women are faced with difficult decisions. Not knowing where to turn, decisions are often made that may be harmful for the mother and child. It is the need of counseling and resources for women facing crisis pregnancy that the CCAPCC is looking to address. The CAPCC is a faith-based organization that will serve Crisp, Dooly and Wilcox Counties by providing counseling services and linking women to area resources, including local programs and services.
