A sudden and torrential downpour in Cordele on Tuesday afternoon about 3:15. blocked roads and caused major inconveniences. The underpass on 9th ave west in Cordele is a very low area and caused one auto to stall out.The extremely hard rain lasted about 40 minutes.

Other low areas in the city also became hazards as well.
