After having shot two law enforcement officers in Americus, Ga. of which one has passed away and the other is in critical condition.The suspect Lembrick is still at large as of 430pm. Originally the suspect was involved in a domestic dispute at an Apartment complex in Americus. Officer Smarr was dispatched and another officer from the Georgia Southwestern University Police Department went as back up.It was discovered that the suspect had outstanding warrants on him and at this time officer Smarr was shot and killed and the other was life flighted to Macon.
